It's time for AFTRA members to get ready for Primetime by joining in the Wages and Working Conditions process for negotiations of Exhibit A of the AFTRA Network TV Code.
"Exhibit A" is your union's terms for dramas and situation comedies on primetime network television (ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox) and pay TV (HBO, Showtime, and other pay channels). Please join your fellow AFTRA members in attending W&W; meetings to discuss issues you'd like considered in the upcoming negotiations.
For the past 27 years, AFTRA has conducted negotiations for primetime jointly with Screen Actors Guild through what’s known as the Phase One Agreement, and we’ve historically announced formal W&W; and negotiations jointly. Although SAG effectively terminated the joint bargaining agreement in July, AFTRA nonetheless recommended the unions work together to co-host the proposal gathering process for the mutual convenience of performers with membership in both unions.
Meetings with the AFTRA Primetime Steering Committee are open to all AFTRA members who work in primetime TV and pay television dramas and comedies. Open caucuses are open to all AFTRA members who work the contracts, but will target specific categories and subject matters on the dates as indicated.

AFTRA and SAG will co-host these meetings. All meetings will be held in the AFTRA/SAG Memorial Board Room, One East Erie, Suite 650, Chicago. Meetings should not last longer than two hours. All meetings are at noon and lunch with be served so please call 312.573.8081 to RSVP.
