Joe Reich, a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon Drama School, and long time teacher and lecturer, is again teaching a free Audition Improv class for eight weeks.  Classes are designed to enable an actor to respond any audition situation instantly with strong, honest choices. Enrollment is strictly limited.  The instructor will select the participants, and members must be in good standing.  Please provide your member ID# along with a picture, resume and a brief paragraph stating your reasons for wanting to take this class (submissions without the paragraph will not be considered). All submissions (sorry, email submissions will not be accepted) must arrive at AFTRA no later than Monday, January 12, 2009.  Please mail submissions to:

SEASONED READINGS PROJECT – NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS

The AFTRA/SAG Senior Projects Committee & the WGA Age Awareness Committee are now accepting submissions for upcoming Seasoned Readings Projects.  The Seasoned Readings Projects are staged readings of a stage or screen play written by a member of the WGA, featuring stories, themes and issues related to older citizens and performed by AFTRA/SAG membership featuring senior talent. 

If you are a member over the age of 50 in GOOD STANDING and would like to submit for upcoming projects, please mail one copy of your headshot, resume & direct contact information to:
