Locals are the “heart and soul” of AFTRA, providing staff services and support in the major communities around the country where AFTRA members work. Each Local represents all categories of AFTRA membership.

AFTRA Locals, organized geographically [Eastern, Central, Western], elect their own Local Boards that are responsible for establishing local policies consistent with the AFTRA National Constitution. Each Local has its own constitution, membership rules and committees. For the most part, questions about AFTRA work can be answered by your local staff.
