Thursday, July 15, 2010 1:00 PM EST

Andrea Marcovicci was hailed as the “most Sinatra-like” of the new generation of cabaret performers by Life Magazine. She was described as “Torch singer, spellbinder, heart-breaker,” by People.

Singer and actor, Marcovicci began her career on the daytime television series "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing." She debuted on Broadway in "Ambassador," and last appeared in "Any Given Day." Her film credits include "The Front," "The Hand," "The Stuff," "Spacehunter," "The Canterville Ghost," "Someone To Love," and "Jack the Bear." Her many television appearances include "Arli$$," "Cybill," "Taxi," "Magnum P.I.," "Hill Street Blues," "Trapper John, M.D.," and "Strong Medicine."

Marcovicci will be in Chicago to perform her cabaret act at Davenport’s, July 14 – 17. We are honored that she has taken the time out of her busy schedule to meet and talk about her amazing career with Chicago union performers.
