Do Not Work Order in Effect for Cirque du Soleil Shows

AFTRA members are advised that there is NO union contract in place for any Cirque du Soleil shows produced by Cirque du Soleil, MSG Entertainment and BASE Entertainment, with the exception of Banana Shpeel. Members of AFTRA may NOT accept employment in these productions without an appropriate union contract.

AFTRA franchised agents are reminded that it is a violation of agency regulations to submit AFTRA members for any non-union work.

AFTRA, AEA, AGMA, AGVA, SAG and GIAA are all members of the Associated Actors and Artistes of America (4As). Because of this we recognize, respect and support each others’ efforts to organize and negotiate fair and equitable contracts. Article XXXI of the AFTRA Constitution prohibits AFTRA members from accepting employment in non-Equity productions and productions that do not have a valid contract with the relevant 4As union.
