The 8th Annual Tri-Union Diversity ‘Ivy’ Awards

The EEO committees of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and the Actors Equity Association (AEA) are delighted to announce the 8th presentation of the Ivy Bethune Tri-Union Diversity Awards, acknowledging those who reach out into the community to create opportunity and alternatives, sharing our common stories and celebrating our differences.

These member-selected awards recognize individuals and organizations that have taken an active stand to make a more representational, multicultural community in the performing arts and broadcasting. The recipients of this award have set a standard to which all should aspire, deliberately breaking down barriers and opening doors for those who follow, generating work for performers across a wider, cross-cultural base.

Honorees to include: CCH Pounder ("Brothers," "Avatar") for the Tri-Union award, writer/producer Yvette Lee Bowser ("Living Single") for AFTRA and Deaf West for Actor’s Equity. SAG's honoree will be announced soon.
